Issue of decision

Subsequently, the Section proceeds with the issue of decision, either for the dismissal of the application for declaration of invalidity, or for its acceptance, in whole or in part for particular products or services. In case of acceptance, the trademark that is declared invalid is strike off and deemed never to have been legally effective.

The Registrar’s decision is subject to appeal before the Administrative Court. It is noted that the appeal is notified to the Intellectual Property Section.
