After Registration

Provided that your industrial design or model meets the prerequisites of the law for protection, its filing in the register of industrial designs of the Republic of Cyprus grants you protection for five (5) years from the filing date of your application, which can be renewed for up to four (4) additional five-year (5) periods (total of 25 years from the filing date).

No timely renewal of your design leads to annulment of filing and in such case the protection rights provided by law are lost.
