Activation of user's profile in the Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property

Filing documents of a registered organisation through the electronic trademarks filing system requires the activation of the user’s profile in the Intellectual Property Section.

The right to registration rests only with:

  • lawyers (natural persons);
  • Limited Liability Law Firms (LLC);
  • Lawyer Partnerships; or
  • authorised users of the aforementioned law organisations.

The Registration/activation of a profile requires the submission of the following to the Intellectual Property Section:

In case of lawyer (natural person) and self-employed:

In case of Limited Liability Law Firms (LLC) or Lawyer Partnerships, the registrations/ acitvation of a profile requires:

In case of authorised user of Legal Person (with additional access code to that of the legal person), the registration/activation of a profile requires:

Alteration of data of existing external user

In case any of the user’s data declared during his/her’s registration to the system have changed / modified, e.g. change of name, change of address, change of telephone number, etc., he/she should immediately notify the Intellectual Property Section regarding the change, by submitting the "Application for Alteration of Data of existing external user".

Deactivation of existing external

In case a user wishes to deactivate his/her’s registration / profile in the system, he/she should inform Intellectual Property Section, by submitting the “Application for Deactivation of Existing External User ”.

In case an organization decides to deactivate its registration / profile in the system, it should inform the Intellectual Property Section, by submitting the “Application for Deactivation of Existing External User”.

In case an organization decides that one of its authorized users will no longer represent it, it should immediately notify Intellectual Property Section regarding the change in order to deactivate the profile of the specific user. Towards this end, the “Application for Deactivation of Existing External User” must be submitted, duly completed and signed by an official of the organization.

Reactivation of external user

In case a user wishes to reactivate his/her’s profile, which was deactivated following his/her’s own request, and, he/she must notify accordingly the Intellectual Property Section, by submitting the “Application for Reactivation of Existing External User”.

Similarly, in case an organisation wishes to reactivate its profile or the profile of its authorized users in the system, which have been deactivated following its own request. The “Application for Reactivation of Existing External User” must be duly completed and signed by a person who commits the organization (stamp) and submitted to the Intellectual Property Section.
