“Ideas Powered for business SME Fund” grant scheme – Applications for Voucher 1 temporarily closed from 07/10/2022

The Department of Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property, Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry hereby announces that due to the high demand from small and medium enterprises throughout Europe, applications for the “Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund” Voucher 1 will be temporarily closed as of 07 October 2022 due to the exhaustion of the available budget. It is expected that applications for Voucher 1 will be possible again from 09 November 2022 when additional funds will be available.

The “Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund” grant scheme, which is co-funded by the European Union Intellectual Property Office and the European Committee, partially subsidiarizes fees regarding Intellectual Property.

Voucher 1 partially subsidiarizes Trademark and Industrial Design registration fees and pre-diagnostic service fees “IP Scan”. Until today, 18,508 small and medium enterprises from throughout Europe have applied for a reimbursement of fee through Voucher 1.

Applications for Voucher 2, which partially subsidiarizes Patent registration fees, will not be interrupted and will continue to be available until the end of the submission period 16 December 2022.
