16 Cypriot enterprises filed reimbursement applications to the “Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund” during the 4th application period

The fourth application period of the “Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund” scheme, through which European SMEs had the opportunity to apply for a 50% reimbursement of the basic registration fee for Trademarks and Designs, ended on 31 July 2021. The scheme serves as a financial incentive for thousands of SMEs in Europe, including Cypriot ones, to proceed with registering and protecting their Intellectual Property.

During the fourth period 2351 European SMEs, out of which 16 Cypriot, filed reimbursement applications to the “Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund” scheme. They applied for funding of a total of 4703 services throughout the European Union, including 4 for the Cypriot market.

The next application period will be 01/09/2021-30/09/2021 and all information about applying can be found on the same link.

The Registrar of Companies encourages Cypriot companies to take advantage of the “Ideas Powered for Business SME Fund” scheme and proceed with the registration of their trademarks and industrial designs during the next application period.
