To make sure that your design or model is “new” and “unique”, you are advised to search among the registered industrial designs or models filed both in the Republic of Cyprus and abroad.

European Database

Through the application Design View and the application eSearch plus of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), you may search the national and community industrial designs or models filed in the Republic of Cyprus as well as in national intellectual property offices of other countries.

Global database

Furthermore, the global industrial design database is available through the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO)website.

Publications in the Official Gazette

Finally, you may search for information in relation to registered industrial designs to the register of industrial designs or models of the Republic of Cyprus, through the publications of the Department of Intellectual Property in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cyprus .
